Rana was established in 1964 as an underwater marine contractor,
following the development of hydrocarbon exploration, exploitation and
transport in the Adriatic Sea.
Since then the Company has grown rapidly, constantly investing its resources in
the development of new technologies and more and more advanced procedures for
deep diving.
The increased experience and competence has enabled the Company
to reach a top position, working all over the world in projects of the utmost
importance such as underwater pipelines installation, spools, tie-ins, SPM and
loading terminals installations, salvage of sunken vessels, etc. Rana qualified
divers also carry out NDT inspections on the integrity of the underwater
structures by checking metal thickness and the status of welds; ROV, TV
systems, videocameras for underwater shots can be used.
