Rana participates to an innovative project to increase the safety of underwater work

SUONO (Safe Underwater Operations iN Oceans) is an R&D and innovation project which is being carried out by a partnership between three companies (CNS International, RANA Diving and Res Marina) and two universities (UNIVERSITA' DEGLI STUDI DI FIRENZE and SCUOLA SUPERIORE DI STUDI UNIVERSITARI E DI PERFEZIONAMENTO SANT'ANNA).

SUONO is co-financed by MIUR (Italian Ministry of Public Education) within a fund programme named "Smart Cities and Communities and Social Innovation".

This project is undertaken to address the challenge of increased safety of underwater operations through industrial and academic research aimed at developing / adapting innovative robotics technologies, better working conditions, and quality of life for humans involved.
